Mr. Bucket Chocolaterie

We envisioned arrival at this store to feel like a shift in atmosphere, not just another kiosk along the terminal concourse — so we introduced a sequence of warm timber arches that act as a threshold, slowing travellers down just enough to notice they're entering somewhere different. The unit sits directly beside The Cocoa Trees, which meant striking a balance: a strong, standalone identity that still respected the neighbouring retailer. Horizontal display ledges thread through the arches to solve this, doing double duty as product shelving while keeping sightlines open between the two stores. At the centre of the experience, we aimed for discovery rather than straightforward retail — a custom carousel with individually illuminated compartments puts dragées and chocolate bars on display the way a chocolatier might present them at a tasting counter. Even the point of sale counter became an opportunity to reinforce the story, its organic form shaped around a cocoa bean. This was our first collaboration with Mr. Bucket, and it set a tone the brand would carry forward — one that went on to inform two further outlets across the airport.
